About The Course
This is a one-day course split between a classroom & workshop with a multiple choice, online exam of 50 minutes, consisting of 25 questions that requires a pass mark of 60%.
Your training is carried out by instructors with decades of hands-on experience within the
Automotive & Teaching arena.
A course full of support, with a friendly atmosphere where questions & answers are always promoted within our environment that helps our candidates feel they have walked away with a strong knowledge of learning.
Course Content
This accreditation is for technicians which are required to operate Mobile Air Conditioning (MAC) systems which contain Fluorinated gas refrigerants (F-gas). Technicians who demonstrate their competence and achieve the accreditation will be certificated in compliance with the basic requirements of the current UK regulations.
This certification programme will assess the technicians:
- knowledge and skills in the recovery and handling of F-gas refrigerants from automotive mobile air conditioning (MAC) systems
- ability to correctly interpret legislative and organisational requirements, and procedures
Progression Opportunities
Learners who successfully complete this course will be able to use this accepted Accreditation as additional training to progress into employment as a
Mobile Air Conditioning technician.
